Resident Students and Commuters should have the same Rights

Okay... I am a resident student and reside in Mojo. Recently I signed into New Dorms to study with a few of my friends from class. Now if you sign into another dorm you have to leave by 12 on a weekday. We ended up losing track of time and I signed out late. Even though it was only a few minutes I recieved and oral. Along with the oral I recieved a letter the next day stating that I am unable to sign into any other dorms for two weeks. However I have many friends who commute. They two have sometimes lost track of time and signed out late. However they do not have to wait two weeks to sign in to the dorms. I think it is ludacris that resident students get different punishments that commuters. It should all be the same. I have a reason to be on campus at 12. I live here. The commuters do not. Why should we be punished with a two week probabtion when they are not.

Cheerleading Is A Sport

If you didn't already know alreadyCaldwell College has a Cheerleading Squad. You probably didn't know that, because we are not taken seriously, we are considered to be a joke. We are not even part of athletics, but instead a club. Now most if not everyone knows that Cheerleading is a sport and that it takes a lot of stanima and Gymanstics to participate. How many people on campus can say they can do a roundoff back handspring. Not many. We don't get enough practice time, because we are never set aside gym time. We must resort to practicing in hallways. We practice for three hours two nights a week as a team, and at home in our free time. We learn new choreograpghy everyday. We require upperbody strength in order to lift ourselves and other girls. As far as i'm concerned we are more of a sport than baseball. All they do is run around the bases, hit the ball with bats, and catch and throw a ball. Have you ever had to catch someone after they craddled, or hold someone in the air. We pump up the spirit of fans at games for the girls and boys basketball games, and also provide entertainment. It is ridiculous that we cannot be considered an athletic team.
